ICFMH Board Meeting held in Athens, Greece in April 25-27

ICFMH held its board meeting from April 25-27, 2017 in Athens, Greece. All eleven board members participated in the meeting and reported the progress of their work that were assigned in the last board meeting in Dublin, Ireland (July 22-23, 2016).

ICFMH joined the IAFP's 13th European Symposium on Food Safety

ICFMH joined IAFP's 13th European Symposium on Food Safety in its mission to contribute to food safety internationally. The ICFMH was present in the exhibition area. Worth to mention is the session S6, entitled “How to exploit omics data on pathogen behavior in Microbiological Risk Assessment: an update on the current research”.

ICFMH co-organised the 5th IUMS Outreach Program in Indonesia

ICFMH co-organised the International Union of Microbiological Societies (IUMS) in its mission for developing countries: the 5th IUMS Outreach Program: Advances in Food Safety and Microbiology which took place in Yogyakarta, Indonesia in January 19-21, 2017.

ICFMH sponsored six experts with contribution of 11 lectures by Drs. Sara Bover-Cid (Spain), Luca Cocolin (Italy), Bent Dixon (Canada), Weihuan Fang (China), Andreja Rajkovic (Belgium) and Vasilis Valdramidis (Malta).
